- No hosted AI usage is included and none is promised.
- Optional future cloud services may be offered and priced separately. They will never be required to use the desktop app.

Payment is handled by Stripe Checkout; we never see your card. Your licence key is issued only after Stripe confirms the payment to our server. Prices include applicable taxes where Stripe calculates them at checkout.

Do I need an internet connection?
To activate (and re-validate every 30 days, with a 14-day offline grace). Day-to-day use is offline except for the AI and services you connect. A lapsed validation never locks you out of viewing, exporting or backing up your data.
What do AI features cost?
Whatever your provider charges - or nothing with local Ollama models. SaaSTasks shows token counts and, if you enter your model’s price, an estimate.
Will there be updates?
Updates ship as signed packages that verify before installing, and roll back automatically (including your data) if a new version fails to start.
