SaaSTasks is a personal command centre for people who run several sites and projects. It lives on your computer, next to your code.
Projects, tasks, roadmap, memory
Tasks, roadmaps, notes, decisions, rules and facts per project, with history. Press Ctrl K to search every project or type a command like “add task fix login to my shop by Friday”.
Git safety net
Real Git repositories, file editing, diffs, one-click safety snapshots before anything risky, and restore. Repository hooks are never executed, and edits cannot escape the project folder.
AI changes you approve
Ask for a change. SaaSTasks prepares it in an isolated Git worktree, shows the diff, runs your build and tests, and waits. Your working tree is untouched until you approve - and an approved change can be reverted.
Bring your own AI
Ollama (local), OpenAI or Anthropic with your own keys, kept in the OS credential store - never in the database, backups or exports. Streaming replies and token counts included. Each project’s AI sees only that project.
Website preview and inspector
Run the dev server, preview at desktop/tablet/mobile widths, watch its logs, then click an element to find the source file and line - verified with real React and Next.js dev servers.
Agents, automation, backups
Ten specialist agent roles on one permission-enforced framework. Native trigger → condition → action automation with schedules and retries. Automatic backups, full export and one-click restore.
Review AI work before it touches your code
Every proposed change is a diff you can read. Approval is bound to exactly that diff; if your repository moved in the meantime, it is refused.
Local-first, honestly
Your computer, your data
Everything is stored locally in SQLite. SaaSTasks has no account system and no hosted compute. It works offline apart from the AI and services you choose to connect.
No lock-in
Full export to a single zip, project files you can move between machines, and a licence that never stops you viewing, exporting or backing up your own data.
What it is not
It does not include AI usage - you bring your own keys or run Ollama locally. It is pre-release software: the Windows installer is still being built and tested.
